Before anything else, I just love to draw. A face that finally has the right expression, a street corner with the light hitting it a certain way, a rough sketch that suddenly feels alive. That's what has kept a pen in my hand since I was a kid, and it's still the best part of any working day.

Storyboards, illustration, animation, and design are all ways I put that love to work. I've boarded an indie film, cut animatics for an animated short, and reworked a mountain resort's brand identity. The job is always the same: take the rough idea in someone's head and put it on the page clearly enough that the whole team sees the same picture.
